Sharon Gudereit & Brain Dead Romeo Awards Night Performer

As a singer/songwriter, pianist and music teacher, Sharon Gudereit has been involved in all aspects of Regina’s music scene. She got her first taste of recording and radio airtime with the vocal group “Reunion,” who released a Christmas Album for CJME’s Santa’s Anonymous fundraiser. Other performance highlights include singing “O Canada” at Roughrider games and an International boxing match, performing for a Royal visit, and singing at countless weddings. Sharon’s debut solo album, “Keeping My Head Above Water”, was recorded at Nebulus Entertainment in Moose Jaw with Producer Jared Robinson and was released on March 30, 2012.

Tyler Gilbert Awards Night Performer

As far as accolades go, Calgary born, Saskatchewan based singer/songwriter Tyler Gilbert has been nothing short of an indie sensation since releasing his 2008 debut EP Vos and its full length follow up The Re-Session (2009). He’s done national tours all over his native country, from Vancouver and Edmonton to Toronto and Montreal; performed at countless major festivals, including the Canadian Country Music Award Festival and Canadian Western Agribition; done national tours of the U.S. Midwest; and performed live on Global TV and CTV while his music hit the play lists of top stations all across Canada.

EXQUISITE MELODIES Awards Night Performer

Exquisite Melodies is a Trio of professional musicians who play traditional and modern music for weddings and other private events. Their group consists of a flute, violin, and cello, but they occasionally add an instrument if they need to accommodate unconventional requests.

(CS) is a Hip Hop crew based out in Regina, Saskatchewan. Driven by a passion for dance and a desire to influence the world around them. CS has had many opportunities to perform and facilitate workshops for a variety of events within and outside of Canada.

Joel Henderson/Poor Nameless Boy Awards Night Performer

Born in Southeast Saskatchewan comes Poor Nameless Boy; an indie folk, lyrically and vocally driven performance. His mellow sound is very personal, speaking honesty about love, life, and our changing hearts in a busy world. Poor Nameless Boy performances include Sask Sampler 2012, CCMA's in Saskatoon, Cathedral Arts Festival, and most recently private showcases at Folk Alliance International 2014. The first EP "Sleep It Through" was released at the end of October 2011 and was widely well received, leading the way to the release of the first full length album "The Activity Book" April 2013.

HARIS KHAN Awards Night Performer

Haris Khan is an awarding winning comedian and he has become one of Saskatchewan’s most popular comedians. Within four short years he has become known for two things: his ethnically diverse humor, and for his charitable works. Ever since debuting on the comedy stage in 2010, Haris Khan has performed throughout Canada & Internationally! He has represented Canada in the utmost way - globally! Haris has appeared in numerous shows, in addition to starting his own fundraising series of comedy shows entitled "Haris Khan's Stand-Up For Charity". Every few months Haris rounds up some of Canada's best comedians, entertainers and DJs for a night of great entertainment. So far through his Stand Up For Charity shows, Haris has raised over $15,000 for local Saskatchewan charities.

Ramses Calderon Awards Night Performer

Born in San Salvador, El Salvador Ramses Calderon began studying music when he was 11. His area of expertise is classical guitar, and he studied with several disciples of a famous Latin guitarist named Agustin Barrios (1885-1944). Since coming to Canada in 2000, Calderon has collaborated with a number of Canadian artists in different disciplines — music, dance, visual art, and film. On March 2, 2013, he headlined a show called Latin Blend that was co-presented by the Regina Symphony Orchestra and Sakewewak Artist-Run Centre at Westminster United Church.

Rory Allen Festival Bands

Born & raised in Saskatchewan, Rory Allen is a world-class entertainer and Elvis Presley tribute artist. Rory has performed internationally on stage, radio and television. Rory has performed with the Regina Symphony Orchestra, 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll group Danny & the Juniors, as well as concerts with Dove-Award winning quartet, Elvis’ Imperials. Rory has also sang and recorded on several occasions with the legendary Jordanaires. Rory’s last performances with the Jordanaires not only raised money and awareness for the Regina Food Bank, but the resulting live concert CD In My Father’s House was nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Outstanding Christian Recording. Also in appreciation of his and his wife Lorie’s generosity in giving of their time to many worthwhile causes, Her Honour, the Honourable Lieutenant Governor, Vaughn Solomon Schofield recently hand-picked Rory and Lorie to present them with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Medals! Rory has released his 7th CD, If She Only Knew, to rave reviews. This collection of original songs has been eagerly received by Rory’s extensive loyal fan base, as well as legions of new fans and friends.

MYLA Festival Bands

Mandy Ebel Myla

Mandy sings; records and performs her solo acoustic soul fusion, as well as for MYLA X DAFUSIA (an electronic fusion project). She uses her true creative soul to manipulate expression and experience into an attractive sound-scape. She is a vocal/ piano coach as well as a producer & engineer at her own studio, Virtuoso Music Hub. At Virtuoso she provides top quality equipment and works hard on her own musical projects, as well as with other artists to achieve their recording projects, and instruct them on proper professional music techniques. She wants to try to promote and create tasteful music that's closely knit to the soul & drawing to listeners. Mandy has won multiple songwriting awards, and been nominated for best electronic artist for Toronto Independent Music Awards, as well as performed at reputable music festivals such as WEMF (World Electronic Music Festival) & Connect Music Festival. Mandy has also performed with the likes of Kiesza, Kalan Porter (Canadian Idol 2003) as well as alongside acts such as, Foreign Beggars, Big Gigantic, Matt the Alien, and more and is in the works of releasing MYLA X DAFUSIAs 1st official EP, as well as a solo album.

Desert Island Classic is a five-piece, pop-rock band hailing from Saskatchewan, Canada. Their blending of pop sounds mixed with heavy rock undertones creates an unexpected instrumental harmony and spawns a subtle rawness heard through their unique sound. Desert Island Classic sings about the realities of life, i.e. friendship, love, heartbreak, sex, drugs, and partying, while blending instrumental creativity that elicits positive, fun loving, and relatable melodies which will surely be stuck in your head for weeks! The four members of Desert Island Classic are experienced, committed musicians who have performed for over thousands of people across Canada, while taking their musical endeavors into the USA with the aim to connect themselves to all people of our world.
Each member of Desert Island Classic came together to form a band that people could not only relate to, but be a part of.
